Three of us took the ride and stroll tour on a misty- rain off and on type of day. Julie was our tour guide and the gardens were amazing and the albatross so interesting and so close. Well worth the money! Julie was so knowledgeable. This is a differnt type of botanical gardens so don't expect the manicured bushes etc.... More

What creativity! Although it was either misting or raining we enjoyed our tour this morning. The bronze sculptures were the highlight for me! Our guide Lucille was pretty knowledgeable.

We visited on the first day of our trip. It was "blustery," but the gardens provide ponchos on the Ride-Walk tours. Julie spent time discussing and identifying the canoe plants and others, but even more interesting were the discussions regarding the funding of the Gardens, a not-for-profit trust. Managed harvests of the hardwood trees make the Gardens both self-sustaining and... More

We were in Hawaii to see albatrosses, which nest off the north shore and can be seen from the lighthouse, and we did. But never did we expect to see them nesting at the botanical garden--superb looks in fact; even saw them courting. But that's us. We also love botany, and make it a point to visit a site wherever... This 240 acre forest, botanical and sculpture garden, bird sanctuary and children's interpretative center is a wonderful way to get to know about the plants, birds and history of the Northshore. It is also an event center and wedding venue. The founders, the Doty's started this center as private gardens, but now it is a non-profit. Recommend the 3 hour ride... More

It's a good Botanical Garden, just not what I was expecting. We took the Stroll and Ride tour which costed us $50 per person. It's a house with a huge garden that was given to the State to take care of. It's a nice house with a huge garden but that's all it is. There are a lot of bronze... More

I admit the tour cost seemed too high and I almost didn't feel the need to visit this botanical garden. We've visited many botanical gardens in Hawaii but this one is the most amazing one of them all! So glad we went! There are several tours, and you can only see the garden on a tour. The tours range from... More

If you love botanical gardens you will be over the top in love with this place. If you donʻt youʻll still enjoy this place. With acres of different kinds of gardens and a sculpture park there is plenty to see. The carnivorous plant hot house is something everyone will find fascinating. The grounds are the most spectacular wedding venue on... More

This lovely, 240-acre botanical garden was built over many years by a married couple, and it is now in a public trust for the benefit of all to enjoy. You can only visit by guided tour. The place is huge and there is a lot to see. I recommend the 3-hour "stroll and ride" tour. You sit on a tram... More

Na Aina Kai has the best venue settings on Kauai. There are multiple spots to choose from, a forest, garden, bluff overlooking the ocean, a private, kinda, beach. The venue will allow you, and shuttle you around, with your photographer, to all the best locations on the property to snap shots. While Kauai offers so many choices when it comes... More
