We enjoyed the walking tour through the botanical gardens at Na Aina Kai. Our favorite place on the property was the maze. We also loved the statues throught the garden and pond. We will be back someday!

This is not a bad tour at all, it's just not worth near the $50 price tag for the Stroll and Ride combo. It's as much about sculpture and the dreams and ambitions of the founders as it is about botanical specimens. The guides are...More

Started out as a Teak Wood plantation and grew into a beautiful botanical garden as well as a fabulous collection of bronze statuary. I highly recommend the tour. It is in small groups that ride in covered vehicles.

If you collect shelves of Hummel figurines, then this place is for you. If you like actual art, then head somewhere else. The art here is all sentimental and trite, without much artistic merit. The docent on our tour pretended to comment on the flora,...More

We have been here before, but we're a bit disappointed with today's tour. The guide was new and definitely not knowledgeable as previous guides and did not seem as interested in the gardens. We missed many of the sculptures we have so enjoyed before. Almost...More

We loved visiting the Na Aina Kai Gardens. It is a hidden treasure on the north shore. The tour was well worth it!

Well kept gardens, well manicured, diverse plants. Clearly they get more funding than other gardens on north shore. Lots of bronze statuary. Diverse plant life from desert to jungle. Large water feature. Lots of color in March. Good tour guide. Well worth the fare.

The one negative on this is you must do guided tours. The tour I wanted to take didn't have enough people so we had to do a stroll and ride. The ride part was very uncomfortable for me. You also don't get to enjoy the...More

Although it seemed pricey at first, the Family Tour that we took was worth the money. Our guide Melissa was knowledgeable and gave us a nice tour of the beautiful gardens. We were a little disappointed that the hedge maze had been trimmed and was...More

do you know if infants (less than a year old) are allowed inside? I have a 9 month old.

Sorry for the late response. I would think that infants would be allowed on the tram. You could always call and ask them. They are very friendly and helpful.
Our kids are 11 and 9; do you think they would be just as thrilled with the Family Tour as the younger kids (ages 6 and under) so often mentioned in reviews of this tour?

Not so much. But a lot depends on your family, including the young folks' attention spans and their interests. The children's playground and Navajo village was lovely, interesting as one stop on our tour, but it might not... More
