Please see our review of Kilauea Lighthouse. Gorgeous location at the most northeastern point of the "Garden Island" of Kauai, with spectacular views out to sea and along the coast to either side. Be aware of nenes as you drive in/out and walk about. They're...More

We had a very short walk from the parking lot. The views were spectacular and it was a clear day. We hope to come back and if it’s whale season this is the spot to be for viewing.

Beautiful views of the coastline. Also many, many birds nesting on the cliffs and soaring in the air. Parking is a bit limited and it is $5 per person to enter but it is a national park and worth it.

This Federal Park is opened Tues thru Sat only. Worth visiting for the view and seeing the state bird the Ne Ne Geese.

Parked down in the lower parking lot, which has enough parking for the mid week visitors, but I think it must be a limiting factor on the weekend. Used our National Park pass, but otherwise it is only $5/person entry. The signs were informative, and...More

Let me change that answer. That is for the Kilauea Lighthouse. The wildlife refuge isn't really a place you go into. It defines an area around the lighthouse. So it is always open to the birds, and you can come anytime... More
