We went to the Friday night art and food truck event tonight after it was mentioned by the captain of the boat tour I went on. We are staying in Poi'pu, which makes this be an easy evening drive with 3 yr old and 4...More

There is not a lot of night life other than restaurants on Kauai. We enjoyed walking around the venue and visiting the different booths and vendors. The art displays were awesome. Some awesome food snacks too.

I like art and appreciate it but it was definitely not an art festival. There were maybe 2-3 shops that showcased art. Everything else was definitely geared towards souvenirs and what not. The food options were mediocre as well. If you could skip this, I...More

We spent 2 hours wandering the shops, listened to local musicians for about a half hour, and enjoyed great food from the food truck “aloha on a bun.” Nice quiet evening that fits in with the whole Kauai vibe. Would recommend for a casual stroll...More

One night per week, the streets of Hanapepe are lined with art, collectibles, and food vendors. It’s a charming and quaint small village, harkening back to simpler times. This is a great way to spend a Friday evening.

I went to this to meet up with a couple Kauai friends who vend at the show. While Hanalei turned out to be my favorite beach, Hanapepe turned out to be my favorite town. Loved the old feel to the buildings, small community, lots of...More

They let you walk around with Kava - a Hawaiian drink with mellowing effects. If you weren’t being otherwise inappropriate I doubt anyone would say anything about a drink.

I agree that arriving early makes finding parking a bit easier, but I went around 6:30pm and still was able to find a spot without too much trouble. So if you can get there earlier, great, but if you’re doing something fun... More
