I nice attraction on the way to the parks. You get to see the countryside, a cool bridge and a nice river. Take it for what it is. And it is free so why not stop.

We read about this bridge and stopped to cross it on our way back through town. It is beautiful and has that typical swinging bridge feel. It was well marked and easy to find.

The bridge is located behind Aloha Spice Company. It is a fun 15 minute diversion, before or after visiting the Spice Company. Only 15 people recommended on the bridge at a time.

My wife & I stopped in Hanapepe Town as part of an afternoon drive along the southern coast of Kauai in October 2016. The town itself is worth a brief stop for art gallery & gift shop browsing, as well as a pop in at Talk Story Bookstore. But we found the highlight of this town to be the Swinging... More

First time we were here we stopped in and experienced the bridge for the first time. It is a fun experience to be on a swinging bridge, but not a real thrill. None the less it is worth stopping in if you are in Hanapepe.

It takes nerve to walk it but the views are well worth it. We got sprinkled on but there was an affordable gallery on the other side of the bridge. We talked to Miss Jan until the rain lightened up. Then, we walked back. There was a beautiful rainbow and we got lots of good shots.

This wasn’t much of a special attraction, but nonetheless we had go out and swing a bit on it. It is unique and unusual. We didn't know what its real purpose was.

About wide enough for one person, you can walk part way or all the way across an irrigation canal. The bridge does sway, but is quite substantial. A pretty view from it, and neat experience. A sign asks that no more than 15 people be on it at one time. A shop near the end of the bridge has a... More

It was more interesting than I initially thought it would be. And since it was a long span, it swung quite a bit with only two of us. Since you'll probably stop in the Spice Shop, which is next to the bridge, check it out.
