Love this outfit. Super nice owners and employees. Great, informative classes that are a bunch of fun. Came back the next day and the price of surfboard rentals is excellent. Definitely check them out! Great folks.

They are laid back and eager to share their love of surfing with others. My dad and I took a group lesson. Mitchell drove us to the beach from the shop and the guys will also deliver your board if you rent one. The lesson...More

Great crew. Good instruction. Fun. We had a great day with these folks and would use them again. We had a medical emergency later in the day (long after we left surfing) and they dropped what they were doing and came to our rescue. Really....More

The kids (ages 10 and 18) chose a stand up paddleboarding lesson vs a zipline, which was fine with me. I booked just a couple days before by calling, though online booking was also available. The yellow surfboard out front by Kuhio Hwy is their...More

Enjoyed my surf lesson with Nate of Hawaiian Surfing Adventures. Nate is the prototype of surfer dudes. Roguish, handsome, Keanu-Reeves cool. And a skilled surf competitor himself. My lesson turned out to be semi-private but still only paid $65 for the 90 minute or more...More

Super experience all around. Easy to make reservations ahead of time. We went three days in a row. Was up on a board after one or two tries and caught dozens of waves. They make it very easy and really fun. Friendly and helpful staff,...More

Mitchey did a great job with my 8 year old! I would like to go back and take the camp myself! Great, safe location to learn to surf. Great instructors.

First time surfing at the age of 42. I went with my wife and was pretty sure I wasn't going to be able to get up on the board. I am 6'7 and 230 pounds so they gave me the "cadillac" which is an extra...More

Everyone was so friendly and really cared about our surfing experience right from Lynn, the booking agent, to Evan & Yuam on the water, and even Uncle Mitch driving us down to the beach and giving us dry land advice. We loved surfing with HSA...More

Hi! We will be coming to Kauai in early March and have 3 teenagers who want to surf a lot on our trip. They have each surfed maybe 6x in the last 5 years but I would not consider them intermediate surfers. What part of the island will be most ideal for their skill level at that time of year? Thanks in advance!

If they don't have local knowledge of the beaches and breaks, then it may be wise to set them up with a lesson first. My girls are beginners and Hawaiian Surfing Adventures knew the entire island, all the breaks, and are... More
