Nice place to stay, kona tends to be more Vog, Vog is the volcanic surfer in the air. Staying in Waikoloa is nice the air tends to have less Vog. There are shops right across from the hotel with a verity of restaurants Very quiet, and peaceful at this hotel. The pool and the beach are nice. They have a... More

We arrived early as suggested to enjoy the all festivities. We were a big group of 10 so we managed to find a table closest to the front that wasn't reserved for VIP's. This then gave us some time to relax, enjoy some of the cocktails that were included in the price, and check out some tables that the ladies... More

My husband and I attended this luau last evening and we really enjoyed ourselves. We thought the music was great and the entertainment was very good and family friendly. There were young children in the audience and they seemed to have a good time too. I liked how they showed the roasted pig being removed from the pit. Very interesting.... More

This was a birthday present for our granddaughter. It did not disappoint! She had a wonderful time, so did the adults. The food choices were vast - she does not eat pineapple or any seafood - yet she had plenty to choose from. The drinks were not watered down versions of what you expected. And the sunset did not disappoint!

We had our last evening on Hawaii here so it was a blast to end it this way. We stayed at the Marriott so got a 20% discount on the Luau tickets. The food was delicious, you could watch the cooks bury the pig in the morning to cook in the underground fire all day. Then at the beginning of... More

The food, show and activities were all great. Get there about 30 minutes early to have your pick of seating. I don't believe it's worth the extra money to site on the front row. At the beginning of the evening my daughter took a hula lesson, my son got a tribal tattoo, and everyone liked seeing the pork unearthed. Food... More

Another year in Paradise even with the renovations going on the resort is still Paradise the first picture is how we felt leaving New York city, preparing for an 11-hour flight but once we arrived here the Marriott Resort puts peace and Tranquility back in your spirit and once again we are in Paradise

The food is great...steak, chicken and I must (pork). Also a shrimp pasta, rice, vegetables and sweet potatoes. Desserts were good. Drinks were good and strong. Not a lot of activities for the kids, but the show was entertaining.

This Luau on the grounds of the Marriott is more intimate than others. The history lessons that introduce each dance provides a great way to learn bout the Islands and their wonderful and rich culture.

When our group of 16 arrived at 5:30 pm at the Lua'u site the line was already long. Before the buffet line was open the bar provides everybody alcoholic beverages, juice or any drinks of your choice. It was a great start. The foods on the buffet line is so delicious the musicians are professional. The entertainers reveal the history... More
