Georgeous beach with great sunset. Well protected for playing in the ocean. Kayak and paddleboard rentals are in site as well as snorkeling, diving and sunset boat tours. Very relaxing.

Not your typical white sand beach, but water is still crystal clear with sunny views and beautiful landscape. Highly recommended!

Even the locals call it A-Bay. This is a great beach to sit.Lots of shade and a good view. Snorkeling is OK, but not great.

A' Bay, as locals call it, is a beautiful but small sandy beach located near the Waikoloa resorts. Perfect spot for seeing turtles feeding in the water, please give them their space. Go early for calm waters, the winds pick up in the afternoon. Rentals are also available.

We stayed at the Marriott they had a bunch of renovations going on but it is going to be beautiful when they are done. Our room and all the employees are really nice and very helpful if you don't know the area.

I'm having a wonderful time with my humans at Anaehoomalu Bay. Started the day with a walk along the beach enjoying watching the fishing, snorkeling and canoeing activities. Stopped to take pictures in the lush gardens and but the pond. Aloha, Mervyn

This is one of my favorite beaches in Big Island because it is a quiet bay with calm and not deep waters, great for snorkeling, swimming and fun for people of all ages. It is possible to see lots of sea turtles resting on the sand or just swimming away. Access is very convenient, next to the Marriott hotel. If... More

I saw my first turtle here! This beach is only a 10 minute walk from our condo and i liked it the best of all the Kohola beaches. It has a little bit of everything. Free parking. Cheap concession. Nice (but expensive) Lava Lava Beach Club. White sand. Black lava rock. Some snorkling. Palm trees for shade. Fish pond. Nearby... More

The water at Anaehoomalu Bay isn’t crystal clear, but it is calm and very good for swimming. There are places nearby for food and beach rentals and plenty of free chairs to sit on. Great choice if you want to enjoy an almost wave-free beach.

Good place to hang out and play in the waves. Water was too murky to snorkel. Beach is clean. There are clean facilities with an outside shower. Good parking area. If you are missing your kitties back home, there is a colony of "feral" kitties living in the grove of trees off to the right as you walk up to... More
