My son did the Dolphin Quest and now that is all he talks about. He even wrote a school report on it. There was only one other child with him. So they did some really interesting educational stuff with them. Then the dolphin encounter- I will never forget the look of absolute joy on his face!!

In the shallow pool activity, my 5 years old had to be held up the whole time. Some kind of support would have been appreciated. But overall, it was wonderful.

Spent the morning with Allie of Dolphin Quest Big Island and the rest of the staff before Thanksgiving 2016. Allie was a true pleasure to be with as well as the rest of staff. They are all very open and friendly and interact well together. Allie showed my mom and I all the inner workings of the facilities as well... More

We did the Dolphin/Snorkel experience. Fantastic dolphin experience for the first timer, but don't expect a dolphin pull or foot push. This venue is also MUCH more expensive then other dolphin encounters. $350 for 40 minutes with the dolphins and 45 snorkeling in the lagoon is a bit steep. This is an educational experience with these majestic creatures. The trainers... More

Whale watching was the last excursion on our 3 generation, 10 day, 4 Island Thanksgiving Hawaiian vacation. It was the absolute highlight of our trip. We were aware that being so early in the season we may not spot any whales. Much to our pleasure and surprise, our staff found a playground of whales that appeared to want to show... More

It was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and we loved it. Even thought it was expensive, it was worth it. I brought my twenty something kids. The interaction with the dolphins cannot be duplicated even if you swim with the wild dolphins, you cannot interact in the same way. I would advise bringing someone who can take photos... More

Wonderful and memorable experience! It brought tears to my eyes watching the sheer joy on my daughters face as she swam with these amazing creatures. My heart is full.

I have dreamed of "swimming with dolphins" since I was a young girl. At 54 years of age, I can honestly say say it was worth the wait. I felt like a kid at Christmas. Kona and her new baby were so amazing. Being able to touch Kona and pet her was one of the most wonderful experiences of my... More

Must see dolphins. Worth the money but we paid extra for the go pro video, came home to watch it and the video was cut off mid way through. That was disappointing. Still waiting for it to be rectified. Overall dolphin quest worth every penny.

Well worth the money. Up close visit with dolphins. Lots of touching. No actual swimming with them. Deep water is not scary because of very good flotation devices. Talented trainers. Wonderful time!!
