We enjoyed coming to the Sunday farmer's market. It felt as if the whole town came to this event, which is particularly important in this town because of its layout (no village center and everything hidden in the rainforest), which makes it seem empty. Seeing...More

When it's raining the skate park is a fun place to either play basketball or skate the wooden ramps in a covered area. I've been to many events here. They are always fun. The park also includes a kid's playground.

Thanks for the great review. We love our community center that is run entirely by volunteers from this area. Don’t miss our next event, Cinco de Mayo, this Saturday, 4 to 7.

I am a regular at the Sunday Market. Great place to stock up on food, breakfast to go or stay and artsy stuff also.

Great little market with plenty of selection of tropical and less tropical produce all Big Island grown. Fanfreekingtastic baked goods and tempting tacos. Local artisans with all kine of stuff, block printed shirt, jewelry and you should just go experience it.

One veggie vendor also has flowers and he was there, he was on the lower cement level, he may have sold out. The other vendor is in the Covered Court, and in the rainy weather you may not have wanted to walk down to that...More

High quality foods and crafts for sale at the Sunday morning Farmer's Market at the Cooper Center. Free wifi. Often a Thai food truck stationed here with great thai takeout.

We're so glad we planned our visit to Volcano to include the weekend so we could come to this early market (starts at 6 am!). Lots of cooked foods to buy. Come hungry, get some food, sit at a table and meet the very nice...More
