We went in the sunrise trip. Weather was great and you get right up close to the lava flow. They give you a lot if time to take pictures and videos before heading back. It's one of those once and a lifetime experiences.

Ok, it is a little expensive, especially if a whole family is going, but it is worth it if you can afford it. The boat trip up to the lava flow is enjoyable itself, but once you reach the spot where the lava reaches ocean,...More

I called the number on the reservation, as well, 808-966-4200, and sent a follow-up email, as well. They called me based on the email about 3 hours later. Very helpful and friendly.
