Interesting to see the process from tree to packaged coffee. Available to buy if you have a coffee machine though I gather Kona coffee is expensive.

We went to Kona Joe's as an excursion while on NCL (cruise ship) and it was one of the top five things we did. I believe our tour guides name was Romeo and he was from Brazil. He was so informative and explained the growing and roasting processing in such a concise manner, even a novice coffee lover such as... More

Kona coffee farms abound in Kona like wineries in Sonoma or Nappa. Kona Joes offers a beautiful view of the ocean from the hills of their place. There is an excellent gift shop offering free samples of Kona coffee. They also have a coffee bar. For a small price you get an excellent tour and explanation of coffee growing and... More

My husband and I went on the coffee tour while vacationing in Hawaii. It was an amazing day and this was our last "outing" for that day. The coffee was amazing and the views were breathtaking. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee at the end of the day. I will always treasure the memories from... More

It was a great coffee tour and we really enjoyed listening to how the coffee is made. Our tour guide was Renato and he's from Brazil and he was very kind and knowledgeable. My boyfriend and I learnt a lot from him! A free coffee is included in the tour and a mug and it's only $12 if you book... More

I am not sure if their coffee is normally bitter or if it was that all 5 samples they had were brewed wrong or....? Yuck! The view is spectacular! I wish the coffee had been tolerable so I could sit and sip out in the garden but no. So very, very sad to have wasted their location on poor coffee.

We tried about 5 different coffee farms/shops in the Kona area - this one had the worst coffee by far! We tried all of the blends that had available for tasting - all terrible! Very bitter! Worse than Starbucks (if this is even possible). Definitely try a different coffee farm if you want good coffee.

My husband and I visited here twice during our stay in Hawaii. It has breathtaking views with seating outside overlooking the ocean below. Beautiful gift shop, and coffee bar. We did not take the tour but you can smell and look into the building where it is being processed and packaged. The Barista Romeu was very kind and informative, my... More
