This valley needs to be experienced up close! I only wish they still used the black sand beach also, as had been part of the ride many years ago.

The ride down into the valley was just as beautiful as the ride in the valley. Our guides were informative, friendly and fun.

Visit the Waipi’o Valley the right way with locals who live there! They’ll give you a perspective you can’t get otherwise. They were kind, informative, and lots of fun. Must do when you visit the Big Island!

A hat, sunblock, pants, and a closed shoe preferably with a heal. I would wear a shirt that shades your shoulders. I loved this experience both times I went.
