Waipi’o Valley is amazing. We’ve traveled the world, and at only one other place (Bali) have we seen terrain as jungle-y, as exuberantly bursting with vegetation, as Waipi’o Valley. Every type of fruit you’ve ever heard of, and some you haven’t, grow wild. Water is...More

We took a 2 & 1/2 hour gentle group horseback ride through a Big Island North Shore valley where Hawaiian kings once roamed. The valley is one of those hard to access places but is worth the effort. We obtained access to the valley via...More

Leisurely horseback riding through beautiful Waipi'o Valley- what more can a nature loving girl ask for? After Hurricane Lane wrecked havoc on the Hawaiian Island, this tour was cancelled twice with another tour group. We almost gave up but Waipi'o on Horseback had an opening...More

We enjoyed our ride. The driveway to the parking was partly washed out from the storm so taking a full size car was tricky to keep it from bottoming out. Only reason it I'm not giving a 5 is because instead of taking a circle...More

A hat, sunblock, pants, and a closed shoe preferably with a heal. I would wear a shirt that shades your shoulders. I loved this experience both times I went.
