My husband and I bought our first ukuleles from Rick. We are happy with our Ukuleles and impressed with the wonderful way we have been treated during this adventure. We were given lots of help and information. We were not pushed to make a purchase nor were we steered toward more expensive and fancy ukuleles. We took a free lesson today and are amazed at the excellent teaching skills that Rick has. This has been a top notch experience. Forget buying online...go for the aloha experience because it is worth it!

I went here because a friend of mine takes ukulele lessons and I wanted to tell her in Hawaii they have whole shops of ukuleles. The people were very friendly considering it was obvious I was not about to buy a ukulele myself

Bought my first Ukulele here. What a great experience! The store assistant answered all my questions and spent quite some time helping me pick out my instrument. They have lots of stock and are very knowledgeable on what they have. We comparison shopped and their prices are extremely reasonable. The ukulele I bought was cheaper in their store than Amazon! Even if you aren't interested in purchasing one they will let you come in and play a few and leave, no pressure. Great little store in Hilo!

I was on vacation with my husband in Kohala Coast, and we took a day out to visit Hilo, with specific sites on the Hilo Farmers Market and Hilo Guitars and Ukuleles, not knowing it's actually right beside the Farmers Market. I knew I wanted a high quality authentic Hawaiian uke, and they didn't disappoint. Ken Cameron took great care of me, spent quite a bit of time helping me understand the various options, and I left a happy camper, with a brand new Kanile'a Ukulele. Would definitely recommend and return.

Went here with my boyfriend. He came out with a Koa Taylor Mini. It made his entire Hawaii trip in one store. Beautiful Ukeleles and super friendly clerk who was very knowledgable in his products. A+
