One side of the park was blocked off, so we couldn't see the other waterfall. They also charge an entrance fee. If you've been there before, it is not worth going again.

The first visit several years ago was better. More than half the trail is blocked by cut down trees that look like they've been there a while. Might want to wait till they clean it up before visiting

This was a lovely waterfall that was easy to reach. The path was well maintained, but there was a fee.

Overall it was a nice day trip away from the hotel. We thought the fall was going to be a hike in but when you get there it's a concrete walking path to a viewing point.

This is an amazing waterfall. It is quite high so the water falls quite a long way down. There is a short hike to get to it along a path with a little bridge over a very small waterfall. It is an easy going hike...More

My husband and myself saw these amazing Akaka Falls ! Was very easy to park and walk the paved path (a little up and down but nothing too strenuous)...well worth it to see !

It's a nice waterfall but nothing spectacular. $5 to park (and if you not from USA and therefore don't have eftpos you need exact change). Worth stopping if you in the area but wouldn't specifically make a trip of it.

We heard so much about the falls. I guess the lack of rain is responsible for the low water pressure over the falls. They walk is beautiful and not so hard. There are a lot of people. Bring a bottle of water if its hot....More

The falls were pretty, and the price is great, but very crowded and the longer loop trail is closed. There are prettier falls to be seen near by. Kamae'e Falls at Botanical World Adventures was my favorite, and we were the only people there. Akaka...More

You can go the way in normal clothes. Be careful when the floor is wet; then it can be slippery.
