Looking for a perfect spot to have a family gathering and/or a picnic lunch, stop by here. Great local area, plenty of swimming with calm waters and a 30ft tower you can jump off of. Mahalo!

Had a great walk there on an unusually dry morning in Hilo. Close to the hotels on banyan drive, this is free fun. Some swimming and beaching and good walking.

We were here for the local King Kamehameha celebration. Nice park with swimming and fishing. Park was clean and everyone was very friendly. We had some great local food too (Kaluha pig)

We walked here from our hotel. It was a nice little spot with lots of people picnicking. Check out the rock pools to spot some fish and small crabs.

We visited this island for the King Kamehameha festival on June 11th. It was such a beautiful, quaint place with so much history and pride. Loved the festival, the culture, and the hospitality. Beautiful.

We visited here and the park across the street. We stayed at the Doubletree Hotel and took a short stroll to both. The island would be a great place to take small children. There is a tiny beach area. We saw turtles swimming under the...More

Take an umbrella, some beach towels and sunscreen and hang out in this amazing little park. Our 6-month old daughter loved the water here and there's a small beach when the tide is low. Great place for a family picnic

Loved to come out here! Easy to find parking near by. They have facilities here and is very clean. Kids swimming and playing in the water. Very nice place to come and picnic and meditate!

The area is calm during the week & the water is free from huge waves. It's great for families with smaller children as well as more adventurous people where there is a wall to climb up & flip off of.
