As a fairly regular Jackson Hole visitor - primarily in the winter, however - I had yet to dive into the world of fly fishing and was beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to spend a day floating the Snake River with my fiance, and our fabulous guide Tim, late last week. Wow, have I been missing out! Not only... More

My husband and I are fly fishing newbies so we booked a day trip to learn the basics. We were lucky enough to spend the day with James who was an amazing coach as well as a fun and kind person. We had a blast, learned a ton, enjoyed amazing views of the Tetons, explored the Snake and eat a... More

During the 4th of July week, I did a full-day trip with Westbank on the Snake River, booked through the Grand Teton Lodge Company. I did a single person trip. My guide was Patrick, who was awesome. I was a novice at fly fishing, especially out west and on a river like the Snake. Patrick took his time, got be... More

We recently returned from a trip to Grand Teton/Yellowstone and South Dakota. While we were in Grand Teton we wanted to do a family fishing trip with myself, my wife, and 10 year old daughter. We had fished numerous times but never fly fishing. Baker paired us up with our guide Kevin and we had an incredibly enjoyable experience. Kevin... More

After talking to a few options, my wife and I selected West Bank Anglers as our fly fishing guides. They paired us with James who was a perfect match for us. Being experienced in fishing, but fly fishing for the first time, he spent an hour teaching us the basics. Understanding what we were doing made the trip so much... More

My son and I fished with Walt Moore, a guide with Westbank Anglers in Jackson Hole, and had a wonderful experience. We floated the South Fork in nearby Idaho, and Walt was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. He put us on fish, helped us with the technical aspects of our fly fishing, and made the entire trip great fun. We... More

Baker Salsby is the very personable owner of Westbank Anglers. He remembered our names and called us by name when we walked in the FIRST time! He arranged two very personable guides, Brandon and Mark for our group of four. We had a great time floating the Snake River with a stop for a picnic lunch. We enjoyed the fishing,... More

I had an enjoyable trip with guide Charles Burd and boated several nice fish. I have been fishing for 20+ years but learned a lot from Charles today. I would highly recommend Westbank Anglers and Charles Burd.

Took my 19 year old son fly Fishing with West Bank Anglers on the Snake River. Our guide was Charles. He was fantastic. We hadn't fly fished before, but that didn't faze our guide. He showed us the basics and we were off. Despite our lack of skill, Charles took us right to the fish. We both caught many fish.... More
