Traveling the Big Horns was an all time favorite activity; a short hike to the Medicine Wheel revealed years of Native American prayer tradition and aptly informed by park personnel eager to explain the history of the region. The views traveling west were truly breathtaking...More

We went here whilst staying in Sheridan. It was a wonderful scenic drive and had the most fantastic scenery. The roads had quite a lot of double bends with pullovers in which to view the beautiful scenery. We saw deer, moose and marmots on our...More

Speechless with every turn. We didn't get 1000 feet within the park before I had to stop and take pictures. I just wish I would have set aside more time to stop and enjoy this gem. Gonna have to start planning another trip to Wyoming!

We drove through here from Rapid City to Cody. We were awestruck by the views! Wish we had more time to explore and go hiking. Will have to plan a trip for sure!

Very well worth the drive. The wildlife was abundant and there are several places to get out and stretch your legs or enjoy a picnic. The photo opportunities are endless and families of all ages will definitely enjoy the scenery.

Scenic with animal roadside views, hills, wildflowers and lakes to view. A highway that was NOT terrifying with cliff drops but at altitudes of near 10,000 ft. Pleasant and enjoyable.

It totally depends on how much time you have- there are hour hikes or several day hikes; you can drive the forest roads or stay on the main highway. Atv trails can go for days and still not use the same road twice. North... More
