Lots and lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Mountains were snow capped. Winding road, Holback River. Be alert for the wildlife. Be sure you have water and gas. Not much in the way of stops on this highway.

Scenic drive with very little civilization which makes you wonder how long you would have to wait for AAA if your car broke down. ;-) I can imagine it being beautiful during spring time when everything is green and blossoming. Would be worth a day...More

LOVE seeing the mountains while driving on Hwy 191. The drive goes thru several small towns... be sure to stop in Farson for an ice cream cone!

We drove this route from Jackson to Pinedale, and it was just as good, if not better, than anything we saw in Yellowstone or along the Tetons!!!!
