Great place to visit for a day out in nature! A little closer to Laramie than Cheyenne, but not far from either. Great views of the surrounding areas. Lots of trees, mountains, streams. I would say heavily visited by hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, etc.

Trailhead is just off WY210 about 2 minutes off I-80. This is a beautiful portion of the Medicine Bow National Forest. The trail is not difficult. The rock outcropings are hard to believe and the grasslands provide a great backdrop to the mountains and hills.

Take this route if you are travelling between Laramie and Cheyenne. The scenery is stunning, the traffic is minimal. You will not be disappointed. It is only about 5 minutes longer than the interstate.

Great place outside Laramie to enjoy the great outdoors. Especially nice in fall, when the aspen are changing.
