My daughter and her boyfriend are into bouldering. They were amazed at Jackson having this excellent facility open and free to the public for all levels of rock climbing to learn and practice. Beautiful place!

Grandson spent lots of time here. Great place to play and to picnic! We took the city bus from our hotel to and from the park (free).

Beautiful park at the base of Snow King Resort. The kids loved the bouldering walls right next to the picnic area.

The rock climbing wall here is a big hit with my two boys, 12 and 14. We discovered this gem on our trip to Montana 2-years ago. And this summer, when we stopped in Jackson on our trip to California, my boys demanded that we allow time for the rock climbing wall. So, after lunch, we did. It's more of... More

This park is right next to the Snow King activities and it's free! Our kids loved it and it's suitable for kids 4 and up. All different levels as well. Be aware that some of the walls get hot in the afternoon due to the sun shining on it.

Bouldering and picnic tables at the base of Snow King. Great lunch spot with shade to wait out the hot afternoon in Jackson. Nice climbing park inside the town park. Or take the hike up Snow King and leave the tired ones in the park and shafde..

If you don't want to spend $13 per rock climb at Grand Teton Village, go to Jackson's Phil Baux Park for free and challenging rock climbing. Kids had a blast!!

We made two trips to the park while in Jackson for two days - that gives you an idea of how much it was enjoyed by our family. Key for our son was the playground and bouldering section. The boulders are enjoyed by a variety of age groups and I think it is awesome that the city created such a... More

This is a cute little playground right at the base of snow king ski slopes. My 10 year old loved climbing the boulders. There's also a play area suitable for about ages 3-8 and a couple of swings. A nice way to spend an hour or two of unstructured play time.
