Loved the tour, tour guide was very informative. My son builds the trucks they use at mine and tires are made in factory near us. My grandson enjoyed seeing trucks his daddy built.

The tour lasts 2 hours. The tour guide/bus driver was a former employer and was very knowledgeable of the operation. My teenage boys loved this tour. Gillette produces 39% of the nation's coal. The trucks are massive.

We took the 9:30 tour with Larry and were amazed at his level of knowledge. We learned many facts and he was able to answer everyone's questions. We got a good view of the mine and it's loading operations.

Coal mine is not as busy it use to be . The mining industry is really feeling the bump for the choices that have been made . Still worth the stop too look at
