Wow! We learned how to make a bow from a sheep's horn that is so strong it can shoot an arrow straight through a buffalo. Our 3 and 7 year old watched the whole thing! Great examples of old covered wagons and several cabins set...More

Great exhibits, lots of information about the area and the people who have inhabited the area. Pictures, stuffed animals videos, some old time farm equipment and a replica of the early town.

Great museum for a small town. My boys enjoyed the hands on displays and all the artifacts on display. It is small but a very nice surprise.

The inside of the museum if full of very interesting artifacts, but my favorite part was the historical cabins that were brought in from around the area. They highlighted local historical figures and gave a great overview of the tie hack industry. Really worth seeing!
