We try to make it out at least once a year. Wish it was more because it is so beautiful. Lots to do with horse shoes or volley ball and playing in the water.

I've seen a lot of rock arches and natural bridges, having visited Arches National Park and Natural Bridges National Monument among other such destinations. Ayres is quite different, and a remarkable site. This free park is a must-stop if you're in the area, and it's...More

Beautiful place! Worth the 5 mile detour on a gravel road! There is a great picnic area and river for kids to play in after a long car ride!

This was just gorgeous! 5 miles off interstate. road is currently gravel and dirt but they are re-doing it. Worth the drive. Beautiful camping (sign said no bigger than 30' RV, not sure I'd want to take one that big!), picnic spot. NO PETS.

This was a great place. Beautiful picnic and camping area in the bottom of a red rock canyon. We were looking for a hike but no such luck. Still worth a visit to see the natural bridge.

Just a few miles off the highway was this really nice county park. We just took a quick walk through and enjoyed the river and the nesting swallows. Clean free and easy to find.

We had camped in this area 35 years ago and it is still lovely! They are doing some reconstruction so only day use for early summer, 2017. Nice picnic areas and you can fish for browns in the creek. Short hiking trail.

The road is very narrow and not really a two lane. I would call the number for the park and ask. There are wonderful picnic areas. I would suggest leaving your trailer elsewhere because the area would be hard to manuver in... More
