The plains Indian museum is part of the buffalo bill center. This building is my favorite of all of them. Tells you anything and everything you've ever wanted to know. From buffalo hides to the beading on their beautiful costumes. There is handmade jewelry and souvenirs for sale. And a full sized teepee you can look in.

A well presented museum. Well worth a visit. Unfortunately we only had a couple of hours on our coach tour. Allow at least half a day to appreciate all the exhibits.

I was so interested in all the artifacts that are displayed there so well. There is a Tepee from the 1800"s , it is a work of art. The beautiful beading on the clothing and other items is so beautiful.

Once inside "Buffalo Bill Center of the West", check with the tour desk for a complimentary tour. The tour guides share a passion for what they do and the museum.

Shows life before the whites descended on the area and life after being moved to reservations. Gorgeous Native American garments, decorations, headdresses, and weapons. Great exhibits on their daily lives. Rec moment it for everyone
