This museum may seem superficial at first because it is housed in an old building. The fact is, it is a comprehensive and professional quality historical archive. Despite being a museum about Jim Gatchell they have a pretty complete history of the Wyoming range wars,...More

A really neat museum. Lots of information, artifacts, and interactive displays. We learned a lot in just over an hour. Held the attention of our 15 and 19 year old.

Hi judystine! Thank you for your feedback, and also for giving us another chance on a day that won't be so crowded. Please know the gentleman you ran into is not a museum representative, and welcome (a year late) to Buffalo! Sylvia Bruner- director

We really enjoyed this museum. We have been to Buffalo many times and "meant to go" but did not. This last trip, we went and were so glad we did. This is worth a visit.
