A very special and unique place to visit. This is Wisconsin at its best with the Mill and covered bridge to complement it's tiny little church in the forest. I always wanted to get married here but with life's trials and tribulations it never worked out.

A fun time for all ages. Be prepared for a super time if the water is high enough to float your boat. Wear good solid tennis shoes--a lot of rocks, but not dangerous just protects your feet when the boat capsizes and it will. Not expensive, but sooooooooooo much fun. We stayed at a little B&B (Crystal River B&B) right on the river in the Village of Rural. We loved how clear and peaceful it was. There was even a small pool like part that was perfect for our toddler to play in.

Went down the crystal river through Outdoor Adventure, located on main street in Waupaca. Really nice part of crystal river. Would do it again. Took 10 people from our family. It took us about 2 hours to get from start to finish.

The Red Mill in Waupaca provides a picturesque vista for the Crystal River. The canoe trips really give you the best opportunity to explore the Crystal River.

We walked down a path through the woods and along side of the river. Very pretty. They had a lot of rain recently and it was moving quite swiftly.

Deb and Robert go out of their way to help guests feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable; the food superb without being sloppy syrupy. The grounds are natural and gorgeous. What more needs to be said?

it was right behind our B and B and we used a trail to visit in a quiet atmosphere. Lovely place for children to play, and quiet place to meditate. Great place to have a wedding ceremony.
