Don't dismiss this county park and think it is just like any other. The views here are breathing of Lake Michigan. You can hear the crashing waves as they are carving out cave like formations in the rocks . Make sure to wear comfortable walking...More

A kayaking hot spot, picnicking with the kids, bring the camera. Nice hikes along the shore. Rugged coast line, great for scenery, but can be dangerous for swimming. Durring high winds from the East, this always makes for large crashing waves, and cool temps. A...More

This county park hidden inside a state park is unique and beautiful. The sound of the waves against the rocks is music to your ears. Check out the rock towers just to the north on the water's edge. Amazing.

I've only been in the summer. I would guess that it would be beautiful but cold and possibly slippery. Dress warm and wear good boots with traction. Also it is probably very windy so something water/wind resistant.
