This is a wonderful facillity built and maintained by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The spring-fed waters of the resevoir are pristine clean and full of fish. The swimming beach is clean and well maintained as are the bathrooms and other facillities. There are...More

Pristine lake and grounds. Excellent area to canoe, kayak, swim or just relax and enjoy the views. We hiked from the boat ramp up to and over the actual dam and enjoyed every step of the way. The views from up top are terrific. We...More

Great beach, beautiful views and very large playgrounds. Offer a lot of shelters to have birthday parties, family reunions, etc. Grills available. This is the best park. Good fishing as well

Campground has large private sites mostly. Not all are big enough for the big rigs and a few have some slight elevation changes to deal with. There is a lot of tree canopy here and lots of shade. Well kept area. Horse camp looks great...More

My husband and I said our wedding vows in the park as well as took both our wedding and engagement photos there. The park staff were accommodating and we were able to reserve a large portion of the park for a private event so that...More

This is a great little lake outside of Spring Valley. We go there many times each year for a quick kayak paddling or fishing excursion after work or in the early morning.

We stayed in the Army Corp of Engineers campground in our travel trailer. This is one of the best state park campgrounds we've experienced in Wisconsin or Minnesota. The sites are very generously spaced and wooded between so you're not camping with your neighbors. Most...More
