A great display of vintage snowmobiles, big game taxidermy as well as hundreds of mounted birds, logging equipment, vintage clothing, photos, etc. Better than I would have expected for such a small community.

Learn the history of Sayner. This museum is chock full of local memorabilia. Birthplace of the snowmobile. See the progression of the snowmobile from its first model to modern. Learn about the fishing and wildlife guides from the 1800s and early part of 1900s.

An interesting collection of materials, focused heavily but not solely on the local area. Significant thought and care went into selecting and arranging the materials exhibited.

We have been here several times and the history of the northwoods (and particularly the material about the old summer camps) is very well presented. The snowmobile museum is attached to it. There is a small admission.
