We were heading home to Chicago from Scottish Highland games and stopped off in Racine. Gorgeous beach and really cool jungle gym/park area. We will be planning another visit to hang at this beach.

This is a lovely park which the community has put some money into to make it a great place to be. Walking or sitting you will feel nature at it's finest in this lovely park.

Very relaxing and beautiful park situated on the shores of Lake Michigan. Great place to walk, jog or run, or to play on the beach.

What a great beach only 50 min north of Chicago. Lovely large beach, not crowded, free entrance, free parking, bathrooms and playground onsite.

We have brought my mother 150 miles to this beach/park because she like the view of the lake for her birthday celebration. Plan on doing it again next year.

In the past I remember there being burgers and nachos and stuff like that. I am not sure if it is the same this year.

Yes, there are several grills available and most are shaded. Get there early to reserve one especially on weekends.
