We took our grandchildren and they loved the monkeys and rhino. The giraffe was a big hit too. The play around was very nice. Would like to see a better place for eating. Toooooo expensive for quality of food and workers attitude were not very friendly. Wish it was still free but understand the expense. Nice time had by all... More

This is a WONDERFUL zoo! What an asset for Racine. We have a memebership and visit just about every week once the nice weather hits in the spring through late fall. Sometimes my kids spend more time on the wonderful play set than looking at animals- that's the nice thing about having a membership! It's even fun to go in... More

Being that we only live about 15 minutes from the zoo, we head down quite a bit. Not too big, not to small, and lots to do! Always a great time!

This is a good place to bring small children who would be exhausted by a visit to a large zoo. It has grass amphitheater and band shell near Lake Michigan where musical events are held during the warmer months including, on Sunday evenings during July and August, free concerts by the local civic band.

OUr kids had a great time in this small but enjoyable zoo! The orangutans and meerkats were great to spend time with! And my kids loved the playground!

This was my second visit to the Racine Zoo. I had visited nearly 20 years before when entry was free. Now it cots about $8 which is fine. I was quite impressed with cleanliness and the layout of the place. The exhibits are set up around a lovely walkway that will take you all through the zoo. There are areas... More

We had a great time looking at all the animals. The kids really enjoyed themselves. They also loved playing on the playground. That is definitely a plus at the zoo.

Racine zoo is one of my families favorite things to do when the weather is nice out. It is a small zoo which makes it great for little kids. My 2 years old favorite is actually the play ground but the the animals at the zoo are great to. They are continually upgrading and maintaining the grounds and have tons... More

Before November of this year (2016), the only zoo I knew about in the Milwaukee area was the Milwaukee County Zoo. In mid-November, while celebrating my daughter's second birthday, which took place on an unusually warm day, I decided to take her to this zoo since the MKE Zoo closed at 2 p.m. that day. As it turns out, Racine... More

Interesting collection of animals to see. Has a kids area that has a petting zoo, and things to climb on and touch, Modest admission charges.
