We had a very interesting tour of "Behind the Scenes". Our tour guide was excellent. She had a passion for her job and encouraged questions. Highly recommend it.

This place is amazing!! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and kept us interested. I have toured many historic homes and this is the best. The home is in wonderful shape and furnished almost entirely of original pieces. A must see!

The tour is about an hour, I believe. Then you will want some time for the grounds and gift shop. Total? About 2- hours. If you are going now, call ahead for late-winter/spring conditions.
