Old historic bar. Good people, great fresh New Glarus beer on tap. Some sandwiches available, but it’s mostly a good place to stop for a brew on the way to dinner.

Whenever i stop in New Glarus I visit Puemples to get my New Glarus beer fix. The people who work there take an interest in having a conversation with you not just serving you. Will continue to stop whenever in town.

Staff was not helpful and bloody mary bar was silly. Good for a beer and we had the meat and cheese tray. Don't know that I'd make a return trip though.

Just stopped in and took a peek. I heard they had a great copper top bar but I only saw wood. Did not stay for a drink or food.
