If you like pretty paperweights this is the place to come. It's a small museum full of paperweights with many different styles, colors, sizes, and intricacies. You'll definitely want to step back and forward, and up and down while viewing to see all the differences in artwork. The setting in the mansion on the lake is beautiful.

Thanks for the outstanding review. The museum holds the largest collection of paperweights in the world. There are plenty to see, and you're correct, our views of the lake are stupendous. More

The Bergstrom-Mahler Museum is a gem hidden in Neenah. Regular displays of glass art, including films are very interesting. Our children grew up taking art classes there. New programs of interest are available regularly.

I added another day to my holiday in order to visit this museum and I'm so glad I did. I absolutely loved it. I expected some reluctance from my husband but he too was very interested in the collection. My mother is an avid collector of Caithness glass paperweights and I have visited Murano so it was rewarding to see... More

The paperweights are amazing to see. Such detail in such a small object. One Saturday per month they have a glass art activity day. My kids love this. They look forward to it. Being right across the street from rocket park helps with my kids excitement. The staff here are amazing. I've been many times, yet still see something new... More

I collect paperweights, so I come here every time I'm in Wisconsin (which isn't often, though originally from Milwaukee). This last time with brother and sister-in-law made round trip from a four day stay in Door County to be sure to see it. As usual, just a joy to see, this time having some excellent studio glass sculptures as well... More

I love blown glass. There were some beautiful pieces. Quite a collection of paper weights. Such details. Some very tiny glass buttons. At times it was overwhelming. But you had to admire all the talent it took to make such details.

I always pop into the museum every time I am in Neenah. It is a truly fascinating place with some amazing exhibits and a small but lovely gift shop. We have yet to come back from a trip there without a new piece of glass to add to the collection. This visit my wife and daughter did a morning glassmaking... More
