We stopped here on our way back to Minnesota and were glad we did - what a wonderful resource. A brand new visitors center with clean restrooms, very knowledgeable staff and great exhibits. We didn't hike but there are lots of opportunities to do that....More

What a place. Beautiful drive in. Great setting for the V.C. Volunteer staff greets you as you enter. They direct to to view the exhibit and they also run a 6 min video about the refuge. Path layouts give you a chance to view wildlife...More

Just stopped by and could not resist trying the trails. Family friendly. Visitor center very informative. Staff very helpful. Beautiful walking trails, wheelchair accessible. Peaceful, educational.

State of the art building with green technologies tucked back away from it all. Open Saturdays. Nice trails & an exterior restroom if center isn't open. 4 seasons of outdoor exploration.
