Worth a short-medium detour, if in the area.

It is a bit Historic and it is pretty. But I don't think I would go out of the way to see it. I think they turn off the waterfall in the winter. A nice place to stumble upon after you plan a trip to Muir Park. Together they might make a viable destination.

We stopped at the Daggett Memorial Park on a roadtrip across the Midwest. The waterfalls in the park are beautiful and easily accessible. The park is a historic site with a plaque explaining the history of the falls and granite quarry. It is a picturesque location that I would definitely return to.

I drove through Montello today on the way to Appleton and saw this beautiful park at the side of the road on Highway 23. I stopped to take a break. This was once a granite quarry that employed 200 people here. The rock was chosen to build President Grant's tomb. After the quarry closed, the waterfalls were built, and the... More

Road tripping from Appleton to the Dells and happened upon this little gem. We HAD to circle the block and stop for a closer look. The falls are beautiful and I love the story and history surrounding the park, which is displayed on a sign. We walked past the falls, stopping for pictures and to look at the fish...my kids... As we drove into town I never knew this park was there. There was quite of few waterfalls flowing even in mid December. They were very pretty and I'll make it a point to come back in the summer sometime.

Right next to kwik trip, fill up, grab a snack and walk down by the waterfalls and take a sec to relax. Normally have swans swimming around which are really cool to see. Who doesn't love the sound of waterfalls!

Hi All; The plan was to simply take back-roads, ending-up in Montello, then heading West to end-up in the beautiful Lake Wisconsin area before heading home. Well, because I had to go 'potty', I ended-up having a wonderful lunch of Beef-tips-n-noodles with Mr. Flickner-n-company...And because I had to 'piddle', hours later ~ I ended-up at the scene of a 4-vehicle,... This is a very small park with the nice waterfall. There are benches to sit on to watch the waterfall and the water fowlproof that maybe swimming in the pond below.

I stop here regularly to enjoy the beauty of the red granite and the waterfalls. There are places to eat or buy a snack nearby, and I like to bring the food to the park and sit and watch the waterfall and the ducks and other birds.
