Perhaps we went to early in the day and bars weren't open. Seemed run down and streets & walkways smelled. The Italian deli was fun and bakery also looked good. Won't go back.

A neat mixture of pubs and both indoor and outdoor dining options, in June that is. Certainly a nice place to do a pub crawl.

We went on a walking food and had a riot learning about/seeing the area. The area is being restored to its Glory Days and the history is fascinating.

Daughter and I spent one entire afternoon parked outside on the sidewalk eating and drinking a few brews watching people go by! There are some "unique" shops in the area and we enjoyed our afternoon here. About a mile to 3rd street and sports bars.
