I saw this delightful Japanese animation, subtitled in English at the Oriental. The Oriental has a beautiful, ornate, spectacular interior which evokes a sense of old-world splendor. Screen is large, seating is excellent, and sound outstanding. The popcorn at the concession stand was sold in...More

Gorgeous theatre! I loved the old world ambiance of the building. It shows unique movies as well as popular Disney movies and shows.

The architecture and the inside decor are simply stunning. East Indian? If you're going to take in a movie anyway, why not do it in a unique, one-of-a kind venue. Very steeped in history, very old-glam and very worth checking out if you're visiting Milwaukee.

Watch movies in a real movie theater environment. Watch the very late late night showings and join in the fun. The yearly Milwaukee Movie Festival began here.

This is a work of art, it brings back the old world charm of the movie theaters of yesteryear's. The interior is just magnificent, the art work was all done by hand painting and must of took hours to complete. This is a must see...More

This and the Downer are the two "indie" theaters in which to see quality films in southeastern WI. The Oriental has the better decor of the two, but both show the good films that often have short or nonexistent runs at the mega theaters. The...More
