A visit to see the Al McGuire Center arena and collage basketball is great fun. An impressive hall and the Golden Eagles are the best with an impressive crowd, cheerleaders and of course a band playing.
My husband and I walked through this campus on our way to and from The Pabst Mansion. The campus had pretty flower beds and was very neat and clean. The students also seemed to be well-behaved. A good impression all around.
in the middle of "downtown" Milwaukee is this university. the buildings are clean as are the grounds which surprised me considering its location. some of the older building have very interesting architecture.
You don't have to be a college student or employee to enjoy this campus. I spent a few hours strolling the campus, enjoying the architecture, having a coffee, visiting the free museum and just exploring. Could not enter the library without having a student ID...More
Marquette has a small, modern campus interspersed among city streets. It has many conveniences within walking distance as well as direct lines to Brewers games. It is not a destination by itself and is a little isolated from its lacrosse facilities.
