The very cozy and friendly Chamber Theatre hosted an adaptation of Dicken's "Great Expectations" Saturday night. Six actors and a violinist put on a tremendous program. The theatre is small and quite cozy. Ireally like this venue. You feel part of the show.
This performance at Broadway Theatre Center's Cabot Theatre
was amazing. The Tony award winning play was playwright Christopher Durang's "melding of his sense of humor" with Chekhov's "heavy hearts". The setting chosen by Durang is Bucks County, PA. This theatre is a gem.
