Milwaukee has always shown us a great time, but Bryant's is far and away one of our favorite bars in the country, alongside At Random (not far from Bryant's). Walking in feels like a step back in time. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and are happy to fill any request you may have. All they need is a couple ingredients... More

It's dark and quiet. You are asked what tastes you like, and you are brought a drink they recommend. All 4 of us received different unique cocktails, and the 2nd drink was different again. It's not cheap, but it is much more of an experience than just a stop for a drink.

Quite the find!!! Bryant's has been on our must stop list for awhile and we finally made it there and were not disappointed. We appreciated the happy hour until 8pm and took advantage of the $5 old fashions. They bartender was very friendly and explained alot of their specialty drinks to us and a little of the history. We only... More

The old fashions that were on special for $5 were great. My wife's chocolate martini was terrible. Must have been a bad night, the couple next to us left about 3/4 of their drinks on the bar and left.

We finally made our way to Bryant's after being on my Milwaukee to do list for a while. It was all it promises. Atmosphere was great. Drinks were great too. I went with the traditional Old Fashioned and every sip it got better with the flavors mixing as the nice melted. Its only downfall is that it feels a little... More

This place is so old timey and so much fun! No drink menus makes what you order a surprise! Just a fun place and great drinks! I love that it is in an old house and has the 1920s vibe! Totally Check it out!

I did not know this little gem existed, taking me back to the olden days of cocktail lounges. My adult children were aware of Bryant's so we decided to make a visit all together. Our waitress was superb, as was our host. Both seemed to play the part with very good manners and mannerisms. Tom & Jerry experience was fun;... More

Bryant's is definitely a throwback. Dim lighting, soothing music, quiet conversation, and recessed booths that make it feel private even when the joint is jumping. The drinks are exquisite, designed to match each person's tastes and mood. The servers and bartenders will ask what you like rather than what you want and get a cocktail that matches your tastes. While... More

We were visiting Milwaukee for a long weekend because of cheap flights from the East. Bryant's has a great review on TripAdvisor and deserves it. Great (dark) 70's atmosphere, great background music, at least I liked it, and the Old Fashion(s) are excellent, we tried all of their versions. Prices...reasonable. Had the bartender make me 2 different drinks (on 2... More

I have heard of Bryant's Cocktail Lounge for years, and have seen it featured on numerous shows. It was even named the #1 bar in the country by Esquire magazine a few years ago. It is much more than a simple cocktail lounge, though. It is historic, it is an attraction, a destination, and should be on everyone's bucket list.... More
