We purchased a Groupon that was to include a Pabst brewery tour, beer samples and a mansion tour .. we apparently went to the wrong location ( went to the mansion on Wisconsin Ave) showed them our groupon and they sent us on a tour...More

I am sorry that you found the Groupon confusing. What you purchased was for the Pabst Brewery/Best Place, not the Pabst Mansion. The Pabst Mansion does not have any active Groupon offers, so unfortunately it does appear you did the wrong tour. We apologize if...More

The mansion itself is beautiful but you can only view it as part of a 75min tour. This was a bit long for me. I would have preferred to be able to do a self guided tour but I guess they don't want a bunch...More

Thanks for the review, we do have self guided tours a few times throughout the year and at Christmas. You are correct though, we do ask guests not to touch, because we have lots of 125 year old + things and our hope is that...More

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The cost of the tour is inexpensive and worth the money. The mansion and its detail in every room was amazing. We were in awe of the history of the Pabst family and the house.

The mansion was much bigger than it appears and is very beautiful. They offer tours on the hour. The $12 price is a little steep but you have to remember the money is being used to continue the restoration. Not all the rooms have been...More

This is an amazing reconstructed mansion. They still have more to reconstruct but what they have now is very beautiful. Beautiful wooden crafts, beautiful wallpaper and room decorations. It is so sad that it is the only mansion left in the area. The tour guide...More

Thank you for your kind review. This Mansion is really a work in progress and this will be an exciting year for us. Please visit us in the future when our pavilion is back to it's original grandeur.

I know this place is historic, but the gift shop / pavilion is in such disrepair it looked as though it would fall down. The rest of the restored areas were much better, but not all of the mansion has been restored. I hope Milwaukee...More

Thank you for your review Marcy, I am sorry that the experience you had at the Pabst Mansion did not meet your expectations. The pavilion will be dismantled later this year and almost one third of the terracotta must be replaced. The stained-glass windows will...More
