This is an amazing reconstructed mansion. They still have more to reconstruct but what they have now is very beautiful. Beautiful wooden crafts, beautiful wallpaper and room decorations. It is so sad that it is the only mansion left in the area. The tour guide...More

Thank you for your kind review. This Mansion is really a work in progress and this will be an exciting year for us. Please visit us in the future when our pavilion is back to it's original grandeur.

I know this place is historic, but the gift shop / pavilion is in such disrepair it looked as though it would fall down. The rest of the restored areas were much better, but not all of the mansion has been restored. I hope Milwaukee...More

Thank you for your review Marcy, I am sorry that the experience you had at the Pabst Mansion did not meet your expectations. The pavilion will be dismantled later this year and almost one third of the terracotta must be replaced. The stained-glass windows will...More

When you walk into the Pabst Mansion, you feel like you've been transported back in time to Germany at the time of Kaiser Wilhelm II. This is a piece of Germany transported to Milwaukee along with their German beer brewing tradition and money. The staff...More

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and, when we went to buy our tickets, were told that they were not doing tours that day. Instead, we could use the literature they gave us and do our own tour at our own pace. If we had...More

Milwaukee's history is steeped in the brewing industry. But while it has been a long time since Milwaukee was the leader in providing beer to the nation and the world, many remnants of that time remain. One of the best is the Pabst Mansion, which...More

Thank you very much for your review. I am sorry if you weren't better to hear the docent. We try and cap the tours at 21 people, but sometimes that is a lot of people for a docent. We appreciate your comments and suggestions very...More

Excellent docent narration of this Milwaukee Mansion. Interesting walk up Wisconsin Ave through Marquette University. If you enjoy house tours an excellent choice.

Thanks for your nice review, I will make sure that our docents see this, too. It is funny that we used to be west of Marquette University and now its on all sides of us!

It is great to see them restoring a beautiful old mansion like this. There used to be 60 mansions on this street but this is the last one left.

One mansion, but different designs in each corner. No photos allowed inside, I believe, but you can remember that feeling of having been in a classy and beautiful place.

Sorry, I can't remember cost, as I think back it was around $10 or so.

Good Afternoon: I have clients that will be staying at The Canto del Sol Plaza in the Hotel Zone early February. The husband is looking to purchase a spa day for his wife's Christmas present to be used while there. Can you provide transportation to and from the Hotel? Can you let me know what distance you are from this property also what packages you may offer. Would we be able to purchase in advance and receive gift certificate? I look forward to hearing from you! Sharon Melcher UNIGLOBE TRAVEL 630-830-5445
