Beautiful plants, in 3 domes. Well worth a visit. 3 different eco-systems, desert, tropical and showy flowers, of the season.

Mitchell Domes has been an establishment for many years now. It does not have light shows or bells and whistles, but is a nice place to envy the plants and flowers that are there. Each dome has a specific climate.

The domes are nice and the specimens are well maintained, well labeled and diverse. There is a show dome, desert dome and tropical dome. The only thing I didn't like was the fake animals and dinosaurs, though I am sure children would probably enjoy them....More

The domes are always beautiful- and worth a return visit. I tend to do them in the same order; the desert, the tropical and save the show dome for last as it is the one that changes with the seasons and new themes. I was...More

The three domes offer thousands of beautiful plants in desert, tropical and show garden settings. The flowers and greenery are entertaining and educational, the settings spectacular and the staff friendly and helpful.

Stopped here when the corpse plant was in bloom (only once every 7 years). It was really neat to see...but it really didn't stink. Kind of a let down. That having been said, the boys loved visiting this place with grandma and grandpa. The three...More

Unique in it's structure, attractive to see from the outside, but charming, inside! A wonderful place to visit, and reflect on how great it is to be alive!

Unfortunately those two (Tropical and Desert Exhibitions) are still closed. They are saying that they might open in fall. The admission is $3.00 for every person until the other two domes are open. The only one that is open... More

Yes, that would be a wonderful time to see the Domes - get out of the cold and enjoy the warmth and color of the beautiful flowers. Great little gift shop, too!
