Very interesting and informative--plants from around the globe in natural settings. The Christmas dome was extremely well done.We went during the day, but if your schedule permits, go in the evening. The lights will be spectacular.
Nice Place to visit, the Tropical Dome was my favorite especially the Sausage Tree never knew a tree like this existed lol, very nice plants in there, the Desert Dome was also nice, the third dome was decorated in a Christmas Theme ,very nice, loved...More
For an arborists or plant lover this is the place to go. There are three dimes of which one is a “show or current exhibit dome” and one is Tropical and the third Dome.

Stopped by the Domes today to view the new Scrooge Exhibit! It was a very enjoyable experience and super creative. For only $7 admission for a Milwaukee resident it is a great escape from the city life. I love roaming each exhibit and seeing all...More
The domes are very hyped and while I love greenhouses, these are a bit underwhelming. I found the desert dome to be the best, what a great variety. Surprisingly, unheated (at least when I was there) and the rainforest one while interesting didn't blow me...More
We were in luck and many plants were fruiting. I liked that they had signs telling you about the fruit how its pollinated etc some even had a qr code for more information. I like the holiday decorations.

We travel a lot and always go to places that have plants on display in every city. While the two domes that were open when we visited were kind of neat, I'd have to say that we've seen much better in other cities. We were...More
The domes are a nice place to visit any time of the year. I always like walking through the different biomes and seeing small new differences. I don’t work to far away and we have taken visitors there as a unique place to visit.

Unfortunately those two (Tropical and Desert Exhibitions) are still closed. They are saying that they might open in fall. The admission is $3.00 for every person until the other two domes are open. The only one that is open is the Show Dome. Even with one dome open it is attractive and worth the visit.
Hope this helps.
