I’ve lived in Milwaukee all my life and I’ve always lived within a mile or two of the Oak Leaf Trail, a trail spanning the city and connecting downtown activities with the northern and southern attractions. I bike to work on this trail from Glendale...More

What a great ride from Thiensville on the Interurban Trail south until it joins in with the Oak Leaf. They have done a lot of work on the trail and there are so many great places to stop on your way down to the lakefront.

I am a year round commuter and ride this trail often. It's generally in good condition and for the most part people are friendly and respectful. You do have your share of "pathletes" that can make it frustrating when just trying to have an enjoying...More

This trail is great for bikers or walkers. It wanders throughout the Milwaukee County area, and makes you feel like you are not in the big city.

You may be in the middle of the city, but you would never know it. The woods are calm and refreshing to ride through. The path is well maintained and you won't have to worry about cracks and potholes here.

This bike trail is great no matter what your level of biking. It is fairly flat and parallels Lake Michigan. The paved surface makes it easy to bike on for any type of bike. One word of caution, it does get busy on the weekends...More

Beautiful path. Taken care of very well. Part of it was an old railroad track that was never used. A waste of land. Now it is an excellent path for biking and walking.

Really, really great bike trail. We had a blast riding this trail during the autumn season when the leaves had turned. I highly recommend it!

I go out on this trail about weekly for runs or walks with the dog. Nothing special, but it does have good scenic views in Milwaukee.
