My daughter and I stopped here after a trip to the Art Museum so she could fly her kite. The grounds were very clean, and there are lots of open areas that are perfect for kit flying. We also enjoyed a walk along the lake...More

Very pretty park that is right on the shoreline of Michigan Lake. You get a nice panoramic view of the city skyline and it offers recreation for the young and old.

It's more like 3 parks and beach areas one after the other. Lot's of places to explore and walk the trails. Very scenic. My kids liked it a lot. We did not get in the water - some of it was black.

I am usually here for different events, so it is a bit crowded during that time. Generally, weather permitting, it is always pleasant to walk by the lake or just relax sitting in the shade.

I am not sure. We didn't have any intentions to grill, so I didn't ask. I didn't see any permanent grills in the areas I walked through.
