Explore the Anatomy of an Engine. Engines and transmissions (powertrains) built at the Pilgrim Road Powertrain Operations facility power the Touring, Softail, Trike and Sportster models. There are 2 tour options available: The Classic Tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and offers a company history and factory introduction video, a view of designated machining areas that contribute to the assembly of engines and transmissions. The Steel Toe Tour experience lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes a view of the assembly line, powder coat process, cold testing, and steel and aluminum machining. The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday from 9am -3pm.

Several of us wanted to go but decided not to since the Steel Toe tour was not being offered until Aug. None of us wanted to watch a video and get shuffled to the gift shop so we didn't even bother...hopefully it will be available...More

Michelle our tour guide was really good, she explained everything to us. If you want to learn about how the engine and transmission are made this is your tour. Lots of really cool machines.

only tours being given throughout the summer of 2018 are "modified" meaning no "steel-toe" tours and even he basic tour has been shorten from 70 minutes to about 45 minutes. the tour in Kansas City is still going on until the summer of 2019 when...More

We went on the free classic tour and it was outstanding. Our tour guide was very informative and delivered the tour very well. I highly recommend this tour. They also have a little gift shop there.

The tours at the engine plant are only an hour. You need to make reservations ahead of time. Plenty of parking at the plant as well. The Museum is where everyone will be for the 115th Annie. that place will be crazy... More

The steel toe tour is 2 hours and well worth it. I believe the free tour is 45 minutes. Both of these are at the factory located in Menominee, Wi
