So glad we stopped here - we learned quite a bit about the logging history of the area. Such a deal at only $3 - plus you get a free postcard and a tour of an original homesteader's cabin. Situated in a beautiful park on...More

They have a big collection of items from the logging days, and beyond. My mom found her fathers junior and sophmore school pictures in the yearbooks. They also have a lot of information on Queen Marinette which I hadn't known before. Very glad we stopped.

They did have great history and artifacts. However, I do not like the fact that you are "assigned" a guide. I am the kind of person who likes to leisurely stroll through a museum without being followed by a guide who babbles on. My son...More

We were blown away by the size and quality of displays at this sort of hidden treasure of a museum! The museum was staffed by a couple of "more experienced" ladies and a young student. We asked for a guided tour and the ladies recommended...More

This was a bit of American history I would recommend to anyone. This was hard, back breaking work and I have nothing but respect for the men who did it. Looking at all the wide open saws they used, and so many hand tools, that...More
