I suppose you almost HAVE to stop by and see this place to say you've been there. It is not much of a bar.

If your looking for for a spot to sit and enjoy people watching...this is the spot. Every Time I am there it gets more fascinating... Every stereotype can be found here accompanied by fun bartenders. Great place!

If you don't enjoy yourself and laugh the whole time you are there, then you just aren't fun! This place is great! Make sure you find the car under the bar! 😂. Great fun place to hang out and have a beer...

This is like East coast West Virginia hills junk yard meets West coast grunge!! The bar is the most eclectic mixture of structures you could image. But that is essence of what makes the bar the best experience on Madeline Island and a must see...More

This was quite the place. It was a fun place to have a drink. Take time to look around and read all the signs. We were on the circle tour around Lake Superior, and quoted a few of the signs our whole trip. Very interesting...More

Who knew? We LOVED Tom's Burned Down Cafe and all of it's cool sayings on the wall and art work out front. I felt I was back in Boulder..ahhhhh!
