A beautiful place to stop and watch the Big Muddy go by. Right off of downtown and near shopping. I'm glad the City Council tossed out that ridiculous idea about fencing off the river. What a shame that would have been on many levels.

Riverside Park is located next to the Mississippi River. You can have picnics there, watch the boats go up and down the river, or just take a walk. If you have children, take a loaf of bread with you so you can feed the ducks. River Fest takes place in the park in the summer and don't forget to go... More

Such a great park. Great views of the Mississippi river and the bridge to Minnesota. Lots of benches to sit and relax. Great festivals in the warm weather months.

The Rotary lights that start on Black Friday evening are wonderful! Such a family affair. You can drive through, walk and hear the beautiful music or take a horse drawn carriage ride through the park. Santa is in residence and on weekends the live nativity is awesome! There are over a MILLION lights in this quaint park. The best part... More

IF you have time stop down at Riverside when a paddle wheel is moored. A sight many people will never witness.

Never expected what I saw. The lights and live reindeer were shocking. They had a live jazz band playing and millions of lights in the park. A must go if in Lacrosse for the holiday season.

This park was a highlight of our trip to La Crosse. The whole family enjoyed it. The friendship gardens is an absolute must. It was so amazing to see the barges along the river. Beautiful walk after dinner and close to our hotel.

It was a little colder out than I probably would have liked but it did keep the pedestrian traffic to a minimum. The views are lovely when the sun is setting. I loved the quaintness of the Hiawatha statue and the artisan bronze statue of the two children and dog. Great place to hang and reflect.
